The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
