I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
